Second congress ISRMS Bucharest Romania

The International Society of Regenerative Medicine and Surgery (ISRMS)

organized the

Second Congress “A Challenge of the 21st Century: regenerative

medicine-research and clinical applications”, held in Bucharest, during

16th-17h of June, 2017 and credited with total 23 EMC.

The participants to this event were researchers and top professionals in

the field of regenerative medicine, as well as many doctors, young

specialists, physicians, researchers, scientists, young people in

training, media representatives and companies extremely interested in this

field.

Congress was preceded by the Course “Techniques to validate the isolation

of adipose derived stem cells and their differentiation

evaluation”,coordinated by Assist. Prof. Agneta and Prof. Dan Simionescu –

Professors at Department of Bioengineering, Clemson University, USA. The

practical course was generously hosted and organized in the laboratories

of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the Research

Platform in Biology and Systemic Ecology (PCBE) of the University of

Bucharest and the laboratories of the Institute of Cellular Biology and

Pathology “Nicolae Simionescu“ sponsored by the Faculty of Biology

–BioMedMol Association from 14-15 of the June 2017.

The second edition of the ISRMS Congress continued to develop the

connections between medicine and biology, human and veterinary medicine,

research and clinical applications, the dialogue between medical

specialties (plastic surgeons, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology,

orthopedics, oncology, general surgery, infectious diseases, neurology,

pain therapy); also inter-generational dialogue and between countries such

as USA, Romania, Italy, France, Belgium, Serbia, Spain.
