REGENERO joins forces with main Universities,  University of Veterinary Medicine and Univeristy of Medicine and Pharmacy ” Gr T Popa” Iasi  to organize the 2017 International Regenerative Medicine Symposium

Medicina regenerativă- știință, practică și interdisciplinaritate

Regenerative medicine- bridging science, practice and  disciplines

To be held 18 of October 2017 at” Ion Ionescu De la Brad”  University of  Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine  Amphitheatre 1 (download poster here)

Adress: 3, Mihail Sadoveanu Alley, Iaşi, 700490, Romania

The symposium will bring together basic scientists and practitioners from human and veterinary medicine to share opinions and exchange ideas for improving collaboration in developing and applying biologics and regenerative medicine products.

The event follows the series opened in 2009 with AT-EQUAL conferences (Advanced therapies for Enhancing Quality of Life) organized by UMF Iasi, AT-Equal society and REGENERO that hostet first East European Regenerative Medicine session (half a day) followed in 2010 and 2012  by two  Regenerative Medicine Conferences (REMEDIS- Regenerative Medicine Iasi). Renowned speaker from Japan, South Korea, USA , UK, Germany, Ireland met in Iasi 15-17 July 2010 15-16 June 2012 respectively to present their work in the field of tissue and organ regeneration for cardiac, neural, musculoskeletal and hematopoetic diseases. Preeminent experts in bio and nanomaterials from India,, Romania and USA  shared their knowledge in the field of tissue engineering.

2017 symposium moves forward in recognizing the need for multi and interdisciplinary collaboration between clinicians, basic scientists as well as between different field of human and veterinary medicine in the common purpose to set the basis for the medicine of the future.

Drug based treatments were fine for the 19th and 20th century and still remain in some respect. But in the digital and genome era humankind is capable of designing therapeutic intervention that are based on orchestrating cells, genes , bio and nanomaterial to make possible complete and total restoration, repair and regeneration of diseased, absent or malfunctioning tissues, organ or even bodily parts. Medicine of the future is based on advanced technology and it has already started to bring revolutionary treatments. Organ printing, cell therapy in degenerative and congenital diseases are one step away.

Not only we need to be aware of this exciting incoming  opportunities to treat our human and veterinary patients but we can contribute to their conceptual design, manufacturing and implementation.

We are waiting for you 18 October 2017 to find out more about regenerative medicine and its promising impact in modifying the way healthcare is delivered!
